Matt joined Maycroft as a Quantity Surveyor in the Wellington team. He brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, having spent a decade as a Quantity Surveyor and prior to that, a decade as a tradesman.

Matt has depth of experience across the four corners of the construction sector (insurance, residential, commercial, and infrastructure), where he has been part of project teams that have won national awards with legacy projects.

He graduated with National Diplomas in both Construction Management and Quantity Surveying and completed both a trade apprenticeship and a QS traineeship through one of New Zealand’s largest construction companies, where he honed his skills alongside New Zealand’s leading construction professionals.

Matt's passionate and competitive nature stems from his strong sporting background, where he has competed nationally and represented regions.

Matt values a high standard of interior finishing, on-site safety, the construction industry culture, and the project management process.
